Dinesen Natural Oak 30 mm

Dinesen Natural Oak floorboards have a few more and bigger knots. In rare instances, there may be a few splinters on the top side. There is a natural colour variation and a slightly more lively structure which provides a rustic look. The thickness of the floorboards results in a strong, comfortable floor that is also acoustically solid and authentic. The floorboards have no cracks, and only minor minute scratches may be found. Knot cracks or knotholes are repaired by hand by inserting a new knot or applying a special knot glue.
 

Dinesen Natural Oak - full lengths

The floorboards are available in lengths of up to 5 metres. In long rooms, the floorboards are laid in sections divided by joints or transverse floorboards. Each floorboard is made as wide as the raw wood allows within the width interval. Planed with tongue and groove, end match and kerfs on the underside of the boards. They are fixed with screws and plugs – or they can be secretly screwed.

Dinesen Natural Oak - random lengths
Each floorboard is made as long as the raw wood allows. Generally speaking, few floorboards are less than 2 metres long. Lengthwise, the floorboards are end matched. Mixing several widths in the same floor adds personality to the room. Planed with tongue and groove, end match and kerfs on the underside of the boards. They are fixed with screws and plugs – or they can be secretly screwed.
